Inside Borderwalk

In practice
01
Every country is reached through one of its neighbours, so you learn where places are in relation to each other instead of memorising a list.
02
Spaced repetition schedules each flag, capital and shape to return just as it starts to fade, so what you learn actually stays.
03
Each country you learn takes its flag's colour on the world map, and pinching out turns the map into a planet you can spin.

An optional one-time Explorer’s Pass and tip jar support the app. Neither unlocks questions. There is no subscription.
Good to know
No. Everything works without one and your progress is stored on your device. Signing in with Apple is optional and only adds cross-device backup, friend codes and the weekly league.
Everything that teaches is free and stays free: every lesson, every map, every story, with no ads. If you want to support the app there is a one-time Explorer's Pass and a tip jar, and neither unlocks a single question. There is no subscription.
The map you built offline is merged into your account the first time you sign in, so nothing you already learned is lost.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Delete Account. That removes your account and its server-side data. You can also email privacy@synap1e.com.
Borderwalk deliberately routes you overland through neighbours, and across short sea crossings when the land runs out. Reaching somewhere is a separate step from learning it.
Ready when you are
Every lesson, map, and story is free.
